Canada's McMaster Chinese metallurgists professor Lu weigao (WKLU), Chinese Society for Metals non-blast furnace ironmaking director Shen Fengman, Beijing Technology University Professor Kong Lingtan, Northeastern University Dr. Jiang Xin, Taiwan China Steel company Dr. Huang Congyan, TOSK general manager Wang shouping , deputy general manager Gao bowen, deputy general manager Wang Xiangyu, general manager assistant Liu Rongxing, deputy chief engineer Wang jianchun attended the meeting. The meeting heard general manager Wang shouping the introduced of preliminary design scheme on reciprocating car design and car hearth furnace hearth furnace high temperature and high material layer (PSH) direct reduction annual 500,000 ton process. Professor Lu Weigao, Professor Kong Lingtan and Professor Shen Fengman put forward many valuable suggestions.
All people agreed that: high temperature car bottom furnace material layer (PSH) direct reduction process has "four high" characteristics, including, high energy efficiency, high productivity, high metallization rate and high strength and density ,which can be used in blast furnace iron production instead coke for coal, provided steel-making raw materials for furnace. It is the first choice for the current overcapacity in the steel industry, limited small blast furnace, and seek to adjust the industrial product structure.
