Laos the first steel company is invested by Laos Pacific Mining Co., Ltd. and Qinhuangdao Tonglian Group, because Laos have low-grade iron ore and coal resources, they can use non-blast furnace ironmaking technology and short process steelmaking technology to produce steel Laos market needed. The project was general contracted by Zhongxin heavy industries company, the project includes 300,000 tons steel mine mining beneficiation, coal washing coal mining and dressing, car hearth furnace direct reduction, electric furnace steelmaking, casting and rolling.

Prior to this, our company has been commissioned to complete the semi-industrial tests of Laos Specularite and magnetic car hearth furnace depth separation, test results show that:, the total iron of Laos mirror iron ore and magnetite reduction product were more than 90%, metallization rate over 95%, iron recovery above 90%.
