     Car bottom furnace high temperature and high material layer direct reduction process technology development project acceptance was held in Tangshan, May 12, 2014, Tangshan Outstanding science and technology Co., LTD invite experts to have a acceptance about the item of  OTSK and Northeastern University " ore high temperature and high material layer technology development (PSH) ". Group heard the project summary report, review inspection materials and passed the inspection. Acceptance opinion as follows: a. Background November 2011 Tangshan Outstanding science and technology Co., LTD commissioned Northeastern University research " high temperature and high iron material layer direct reduction technology development (PSH)" , February 2014, Northeastern University submit the research reports.

    b. The main contents of this issue will focus on three ore for using high temperature and high iron material layer technology for the direct reduction the three ore were high-grade iron ore, ordinary iron ore, and nickel laterite. Compare index of high material layer and single layer, including metallization rate, production efficiency, and have a gas furnace expand test, while using XRD, SEM, EDS and other analysis the test mechanism. c. Project research process and the results (1) high-grade iron powder: compared with a single layer of carbon-containing material in direct reduction, pellets metallization rate is low, high temperature and high material layer metallization direct reduction rate can be higher than 36 percent, production efficiency is high and reduction in tons of iron reducing carbon consumption is great, it is conducive to energy conservation and reduce CO2 emissions. (2) Normal Iron ore: In the condition of electric heating and gas heating, the DRI metallization ratio is ideal.

    d. The research conclusion meet the contract parties acceptance requirements ,the result achieve the desired aim, so the subject was passed, and unanimously recommended to complete expand semi-industrial test, accelerate high temperature and high material layer direct reduction technology promotion and application in the field.
