    Our company forms a group to go to Panzhihua to attend the 2010 China Society for Metals non-blast furnace iron-making Annual Meeting

    October 26, 2010 to October 29, 2010, our general manager Wang ShouPing,, deputy general manager,Wang Lixin, assistant general manager:Wang Xiangyu, manager of process department: Wang Chuanjie, director of R & D center:Wang Jianchun all together five people went to Panzhihua to participate the Chinese Society for Metals2010 non-blast furnace ironmaking academic annual Conference and vanadium-titanium magnetite comprehensive utilization technical seminars. This meeting is held by the Chinese Society for Metals, non-blast furnace ironmaking Committee and supported by Panzhihua City Science and Technology Bureau. Participating units are: China Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Society for Metals, Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Agency, Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Northeastern University, Tangshan Outstanding Science and Technology Co., Ltd. Etc all together sixty-seven companies.

    The main topic of this conference is: "Discuss non-blast furnace ironmaking’s development direction, promote the healthy development ofChina's non-blast furnace ironmaking, explore vanadium-titanium magnetite resources ‘s new clean and efficient utilization approach." The key discussion topics are: non-blast furnace ironmaking technology’s progress;China’s non-blast furnace ironmaking technology’s development direction and prospect under the pressure ofChina’s resources, iron and steel industry condition and environmental stress.China’s current non-blast furnace ironmaking’s existing problems and solutions; countermeasures of clean and efficient comprehensive utilization of vanadium titanium magnetite 

    Meeting lasts for three days, our company’s general manager Wang Shouping made report entitled” Kunming Iron and Steel Co.,’s reduced iron project industrialized experience” on smelting reduction in coal-based direct reduction technology exchange meeting. The report describes that in order to improve the industrialization level of direct reduction iron coal-based tunnel kiln reduction technique, we take a large gas tunnel kiln as main equipment, combine the automatic loading and unloading technique equipments as mechanization and automation DRI sets of production lines, changed the traditional backward position of coal-based tunnel kilns’ low productivity, labor-intensive, serious environmental pollution, laid a development foundation for further improve the future of coal-based tunnel kiln reduction process on an industrial scale.

    Our company built the direct reduced iron project with annual output 75000-100000 tons for Kunming Steel powder metallurgy technology company in 2008 to 2009, which is consists of three 135 m tunnel kilns, a set of loading and unloading unit and other ancillary equipment. Whole production line from raw material processing, loading, reducing, unloading, crushing, briquetting have successfully achieved automatic control, greatly reduced labor intensity,made great achievements in terms of the industrial scale and automation. This project used one old patent , four new patents in energy saving ,can also save reduced coal 30%, reduce emission 30%, made tremendous contributions in tunnel kiln reducing iron and energy saving.

    Our general manager assistant: Wang Xiangyu made one report entitled "Nickel Laterite Ore “deep reduction and efficient separation "useful exploration in nickel-iron making,"

    The report says our company uses the newly-developed car bottom furnace on laterite nickel ore coal-based reduce technique which developed a new chapter in Nickel laterite nickel ore smelting irons. Also president of our cooperative company: Panzhihua University Materials college Yang Shaoli made several reports at the meeting, including an article entitled "New technique Introduction of Car bottom furnace coal-based direct reduction of vanadium-titanium magnetite," the report says that we achieved good results in using our company’s car bottom furnace in vanadium-titanium magnetite direct reduction.
